The trio picked three wickets each to bowl the hosts out for 116 before tea on the final day.Opting to bat, Barbados scored 316, with contributions from captain Shamarh Brooks (96 off 200 balls) and Jonathan Carter (72 off 144 balls). In response, Trinidad had a top-order collapse, and were reeling at 97 for 5, but resistance from captain Denesh Ramdin (132 not out) took them to 214 even as Warrican ripped through the line-up to claim six wickets.In their second innings, Barbados declared on 221 for 7 to give Trinidad 324 runs to chase. كان برشلونة قد أعلن، يوم الجمعة الماضي، الاستغناء عن خدمات المدرب تشافي هيرنانديز الذي خاض آخر مباراة مع الفريق أمس ضد إشبيلية.

وتوصل برشلونة إلى اتفاق مع هانز فليك من أجل تولي مسؤولية تدريب الفريق الكتالوني، خلفًا لـ تشافي، بدءًا من الموسم المقبل.

وكان من المفترض وصول فليك إلى برشلونة، اليوم للتوقيع على عقود انضمامه إلى النادي، وهو ما لم يحدث.

ووفقًا لما ذكرته صحيفة “موندو ديبورتيفو” الإسبانية، فإن هانز فليك سيصل إلى برشلونة يوم الثلاثاء ليصبح مدربًا للفريق الأول، للموسمين المقبلين.

وأفادت بأن صاحب الـ59 عامًا أجل رحلته إلى إسبانيا، قادمًا من لندن، بعدما تلقى أوامر من برشلونة حيث اضطر النادي إلى إنهاء الأمور المتعلقة بعقد تشافي والطاقم المعاون.

وأكدت أن فليك اتفق بالفعل على كل شيء مع برشلونة، من الناحية المالية، وسيتعين عليه فقط توقيع عقوده قبل أن يبدأ تدريب الفريق.

وأشارت إلى أنه كان هناك حالة من الانسجام التام بين هانز فليك والمدير الرياضي لنادي برشلونة، ديكو، خلال محادثاتهما يوم الأربعاء الماضي.

Batsmen and wicketkeepers have worn helmets for decades now, and with the evolution of power-hitting, especially in the T20 format, a few umpires and bowlers are also exploring the option of protective headgear to guard against injury. In Hamilton on Saturday, it was the turn of 25-year-old Otago fast bowler Warren Barnes to trial protective headgear while bowling against Northern Districts in a Super Smash T20 match.The headgear – part helmet and part face-mask – has been designed by Barnes and Otago coach Rob Walter, to protect the bowler from injury due to his unique follow-through. Barnes’ head goes down in his follow through, meaning his eyes are off the ball after release, which makes him vulnerable to straight drives hit back by the batsman. The headgear partially covers Barnes’ face but protects the crown of his head.Barnes is looking to avoid the kind of injury that Nottinghamshire bowler Luke Fletcher suffered during a Natwest t20 Blast match earlier this year. Fletcher was struck on the head in his follow-through, by a ferocious straight hit from Birmingham batsman Sam Hain. He was concussed, but did not lose consciousness and was attended to by para-medics in the dressing room before being taken to a Nottinghamshire hospital for further examination. Fletcher was ruled out for the remainder of the season and earlier this month was cleared to resume full training.

It could be argued that Arsenal had one of the most successful transfer windows in the Premier League after welcoming the likes of Declan Rice in big-money moves.

The Gunners prepared themselves for a season of competing on all fronts, and have got off to a solid start in the Premier League. With that said, however, following new arrival Jurrien Timber's ACL injury on the opening day of the season, Mikel Arteta has already been left slightly short in the right-back department, and is eyeing a return to the transfer market, as a result.

A club far more organised than in previous years, Arsenal are already looking to solve the problem created by Timber's injury.

What's the latest Arsenal transfer news?

By the time that the summer transfer window slammed shut, Arsenal had welcomed four reinforcements in total, with Rice, Kai Havertz, Timber, and David Raya all walking through the door at The Emirates.

So far, Rice has been the standout arrival, acclimating to life in North London fairly seamlessly, and quickly establishing himself in Arteta's side. Timber, meanwhile, as we've already touched on, got off to the worst start possible with his injury.

It is an injury that has created a problem for Arteta, and one that he has solved by shifting defensive midfielder Thomas Partey over to the right-back role, leaving a gap behind in the middle of the park. If that gap in midfield becomes permanent, it could yet be filled by Real Sociedad's Martin Zubimendi, however.

According to Football Transfers, the Gunners were weighing up moves for Joao Cancelo and Eric Garcia in the final days of the window, whereas midfielder Zubimendi was also a target. The report claims Arsenal even made contact with the player's representatives over a potential deal, and are eyeing another move for the 24-year-old in January if Partey leaves the club.

Should Arsenal sign Martin Zubimendi?

If Partey does depart in January, then signing a replacement should be seen as Arsenal's biggest priority, and that's where Zubimendi could come in.

The 24-year-old played a crucial role for Sociedad last season, featuring 36 times in La Liga, as they finished in the top four for the first time since the 2012/13 campaign. Statistically speaking, too, the Spaniard even outperformed Partey in some areas last season, as per FBref.

The midfielder has earned a lot of praise throughout his career for performances such as last season's, including from Barcelona legend and current manager Xavi, who said, via Sportskeeda:

"He is more physical and faster than Busi, who is better technically. But it’s not just Zubimendi, it’s all the players in midfield. We have a great team visiting us. Zubimendi is a great player."
